I thought I would be tired of painting mermaids by now, but I’m not. It’s true that limiting yourself makes you more creative. I do like experimenting, but too much aimless experimenting can be a bad thing if you want to develop some sort of style.

This painting above was inspired by Florida wetlands that I visited a while back. I’ve got so many photos I have taken to use as backgrounds, so I’ve started going through them and choosing which ones I’m going to use.
