I had started an oil painting and hated how it was turning out. The problem with oil is that few things can go on top of it… So, I tried the water soluble oil pastels I have laying around. It was a lot of fun using them on canvas and I tried a landscape that I photographed when I was in Hawaii. I couldn’t get it super smooth, unfortunately, but I liked how it turned out! It was a fun experiment anyway.
