I think these are mostly finished, I’m going to let them sit for a while and then check them again.

These are based on photos I took at The Epcot Flower Festival and at the zoo.  It’s a different experience painting my own photos and for some reason it’s sometimes more difficult to be inspired by them.  Even though I enjoy taking photos very much, I guess by the time I get around to painting them I am bored already? 

I’m working on these below as well and they’re quite rough as you can tell.  For most of my paintings I combine stock photography in Photoshop Elements to get a *hopefully* unique composition.  For these paintings I’m trying to have a style, I guess.  Whereas my more realistic, verbatim, work I try to do from my own photos.
