Every few weeks I like to do small paintings to experiment. 

I felt like painting hummingbirds, they are so adorable! 🥰. My favorite of these is the one on the top right.

Also did a small experimental series of some of the  photos I took at the Epcot flower and garden festival.  We even spotted two frogs in one of the ponds!  So random because I almost never see frogs when I’m out in nature.

This one below is in progress.  I actually painted over a painting that I didn’t like with black, but now this one seems way too dark.  I started this one without any sketch and just by painting the shapes and building up the layers.  This is actually my preferred way of painting, but it’s extremely difficult to get right.  It is the way I naturally painted before I took any classes or had any lessons.  The problem is that it had a high rate of failure and that was quite discouraging.   But now I think I have enough experience to maybe get back into painting this way.    It’s also the easiest way for me to get into the flow state for some reason.
