Trying to get in as much practice painting as I can. All of these except the snake were painted over on old canvases.  I like that about acrylic, it’s easy to paint over and dries so fast!

I really love nature and wildlife, so I’m trying to find a way to incorporate that into my art, but to also make it look good while enjoying the process.  Doing very realistic nature paintings doesn’t appeal too much to me, even though I love taking and looking at nature photography!  I find that I want my painting to look as perfect as the photo, but get bored if a painting takes too long to finish. 😂
